It is a privilege Paul to have someone as caring and supportive as yourself in the Right Track whanau. You epitomise all that is good about the police force and humanity and I am exceedingly glad that I have been lucky enough to have stood next to you as you “hold hands” with some pretty interesting characters (physically and metaphorically) and encourage people to change their lives. Hi John and helen.
Ive been meaning to write a blog on here for some time… here goes.

ive been involved in supporting the right track now for 9 courses here in the waikato via my role as community policing sergeant – police. I want to say what a privilage it has been to see the changes the right track has made in the lives of those on the course. not only the learners but the support persons / family who come along also.I myself have been amazed how much I have learnt as well by being involved.what a course, what a powerful learning experience . REAL changes in driving attitude and behaviour well done RIGHT TRACK!!

Well done John , good to see others on the blog and giving such positive feedback. Luke (cars ) has shown good positive thinking and action , we now see car pooling and sober drivers being used , with the odd sleep over. Thank goodness….

I have to share this extra message we got on saturday ( I should have added it in my speech )

…..on returning from the spinal unit , we stopped at the lights , a van drew up next to us . On the rear window in huge letters were the words ” GOD BLESS ” …….by chance , I do not think so , I am sure it was a message to all of us………..you , your team and everyone on that course.

It would be great if your next groups could read this site , before they go on the course.
I am , of course , willing to help at your next Waitakere course in may.
Good luck with your currant group , I hope you are on a run with 100% results.

Kia ora te whanau

I’m gonna throw my stone in the pond.

This programme has been instrumental in turning my nephew around and not only on the road. He has taken the lessons learnt on The Right Track and applied them the rest of his life.

Lets stop our taitamariki killing and maiming themselves and others. It’s very easy to point the finger, much harder to hold out a hand.

Thank you to Helen, John and the rest of the team for holding out theirs.
